5-1 Discussion Social Systems

Q Culture is part of all organizations, and social systems exist in any given company. When an individual becomes an employee, he or she also becomes part of that organization's social system. This is the general system in which people relate to one another at work. As such, many variables may influence an organization's social system, which can impact the working balance. When working relationships are functional, they contribute to the organization's success. Considering your current or past workplace, describe how the social system operates and how people contribute to or taint the system. How do people contribute to the social harmony (or disharmony) at your workplace? In responding to your classmates' posts, analyze the social systems they have described. Offer ideas for maintaining or establishing a social system in your classmates' scenarios. Encourage further elaboration by asking your classmates questions and offering alternative viewpoints. Support your initial post and response posts with scholarly sources cited in APA style. To complete this assignment, review the Discussion Rubric document.

In my past workplace, there had been specific individuals contributing to the social system by causing social harmony as well as social disharmony. This is because there had been specific individuals who did not want to belong to the whole team of the organization. The reason for not wanting to be included in the organization’s group had been the lack of like-minded attitudes/perspectives/mentalities among all the organizational members.
